Hangnaameedhoo is a local island in the Maldives - the northernmost one in the atoll of Alifu Dhaalu. The island is large enough and green with a positive locals. Unfortunately, fenced off Bikini beach is too tiny (20 meters long), - it would be great to extend it to the north. Coral bottom is more suitable for the snorkeling. However, the swimming is also possible on the sandy shallows near the water edge. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Hangnaameedhoo island has a dozen of hotels with rooms's fares about US$100 per night after all taxes being added.
Ocean Beach Inn is the only accomodation option by the sea. But it is not really a beach hotel, as the bottom is rocky and bikini is not allowed. However, it is the place with the best snorkeling on the island.
