Hellshire beach

Hellshire is a popular beach near Kingston - the capital town of Jamaica. In better times it was a great white sand beach, but now it suffers from strong coastal erosion (a little to the north there is another beach without that problems). It is possible to rent a room near the beach, but these accommodation options are poorly presented over the Internet. The nearest real hotels are located in the nearby town of Portmore.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Montego Bay international airport (MBJ) or fly to Kingston airport (KIN). Next hire a taxi or take a bus with few connections.

Kingston airport is located not far from Hellshire beach, but most flights from America and Europe arrive into the airport of Montego Bay.

When to go [edit]

The weather is great in Jamaica all year round. However, the winter half of the year is traditionally the high season, as it's cold that time in the United States and Canada, and tourists head to the sunny countries.
