Heywoods Beach

Heywoods is a good beach on the west of the island of Barbados. Some parts of the shore looks perfect as a postcard. There's reasonable number of people. Beach: sand. Seabed: sand, somewhere rocks. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There's lots of big hotels near the beach. Also you may rent a comfortable villa in the nearby village. Anyway you need to book accommodation in advance.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). It will take an hour to get to Speightstown by taxi or bus. Beach is located just to the north of town.

When to go [edit]

Any time of the year but best from December to May. See chart of average precipitation below.
