Himmafushi is a local island in the Maldives (
North Male atoll) - the closest one to International airport after the capital town. There is no beach at all, and as often happens in such cases, the island is positioned as a place for the suberb diving and surfing. However, everywhere in the Maldives there is diving and some kind of surfing. As for the chance to contact with locals, there are more beautiful inhabited islands in the Maldives. Shore and seabed: rocks, sand.
