Hog Island is a small islet in the south of major
Grenada Island. It is connected to the main island by bridge. However, driving over the bridge is prohibited. But you still can walk across the bridge. There is
Roger's Barefoot Beach Bar in the west. Most visitors come here by boat from their catamarans - from
David Christal's Mooring located just nearby. In general, this is a good basic bar with reasonable prices and always with great company of tourists. Beach near the bar is rather mediocre, but still quite acceptable. There are also few more beaches on Hog Island - including the
Second Beach in the east. It has better swimming, but often suffers from algae. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
