Holiday Inn Kandooma island

Holiday Inn Kandooma is an island resort in South Male Atoll, Maldives. Beach with palm trees is very good and looks more like the Caribbean. Neighboring local Guraidhoo island spoils the view from the good beach, while other side of the island has rocky coast and is not suitable for swimming. Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma is a 4-stars resort with the lowest room rates about US$200 per night, that is fantastic cheap for the Maldives. But for the most of dates price starts from US$300, and it will become US$500 after all taxes being added.

We recommend to take fullboard meal plan, as island's restaurants are very expensive. Tours and additional services are able to make the final bill more expensive in comparison with some more luxury hotels.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next take a speedboat provided by the hotel (40 minutes per way). Transfer rates for the round trip are US$230, children 4-12 years - US$140, infants are for free.

Budget travellers may take a ferry from Male to Maafushi island, and next find some local man with boat to take you to the Holiday Inn.

The best time for a beach holiday at the Holiday Inn Kandooma in the Maldives is a dry season from January to April.
