Hondaafushi beach

Hondaafushi is a private island located near the main airport of Haa Dhaalu atoll, Maldives. The island is large and beautiful. There is a lot of coastal vegetation, but mostly these are bushes, and just a few trees and palms. Coral reef is dead, but the snorkeling is still good enough. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hondaafushi Island Resort is a four-star hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$120 per night. The service is rather mediocre, but value for money is great anyway!

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next make a domestic flight to Hanimaadhoo airport (HAQ). Next get by the resotr's speedboat. Total cost of transfer from Male to the hotel and back is US$400 per adult or US$300 per child.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Hondaafushi island is a dry period from January to April.
