Huvadhoo island
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Huvadhoo is a private island located in the inner lagoon of
Gaafu atoll, Maldives. It's pretty nice ashore, but the scenery is still not the most beautiful by the Maldivian standards. The key feature of this island is its gorgeous house reef. In fact, almost everywhere in the world corals have died due to the global warming. But these are still alive here! Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is a five-star property with rooms' rates starting from US$1300 per night. This is almost a boutique resort, but still slightly overpriced. However, this is still quite a reasonable option by the Maldivian standards.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Maldives international airport (MLE). Next fly to
Kooddoo airport (GKK) or fly to
Kaadedhdhoo airport (KDM). Next take 30-minutes journey by the resort's speedboat. Total cost of transfer from Male airport to the hotel and back is US$550 for adult, US$475 for a child (2-11 years old), US$175 for an infant.
When to go [edit]
The best time to relax in the atoll of Gaafu is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
