Huvahendhoo island

Huvahendhoo is an island resort in South Ari atoll, Maldives. The beach is beautiful, but numerous breakwaters spoil the view. In addition the bottom is mostly rocky, thus it is not very convenient for swimming. But diving and snorkelling on the house reef are very good. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Lily Beach Resort and Spa is a five-star property with room's rates starting from US$800 per night for an "all inclusive" package. We want to mention some beachfront villas partially overhanging the water. This is very strange idea, but it is not common in the Maldives, and someone might like it.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next take a seaplane - 25 minutes per way. The cost of round transfer is US$420 per adult, US$210 per child 2-11 years, free for infants.

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Huvahendu is a dry season from January to April.
