Isla Chichime

Isla Chichime is the most popular island in the archipelago of San Blas, Panama. Hotels [edit]

Ogob Nega is the only hotel on Isla Chichime. Conditions are very basic, but in San Blas luxury rooms are available in sailing yachts only.

As usual, San Blas hotels are rather expensive, but room's fare often includes meals and visits to the neighboring islands. You'd better take enough water and beer, as everything is very expensive on the island.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Panama City international airport (PTY). Next fly to the island of El Porvenir, and take a boat to the island of Isla Chichime.

Alternatively, you can reach the town of Puertos de Carti located on the mainland, and next get by boat.

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Isla Chichime in San Blas is a dry season from January to April.
