Isla Perro

Isla Perro (Gunboat island) is an island in the group of San Blas, famous for Barco Hundido shipwreck. So in addition to usual snorkelling on the house reef, it is also possible to make a "historical" research, - and all of that right by the gorgeous beach with white sand and palm trees. The island has camping only with the cost of accommodation in a tent about $100 per night per person. In most cases reservation can be done via local agencies.

Take with you cash, towels and snorkeling gears. To save a little money, take also bottled water, as it is very expensive on the island.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Panama City international airport (PTY). Next fly to the island of El Porvenir, and take a boat to Isla Perro.

Another transportation option is to get by car to the coastal town of Puertos de Carti, and next take a 30-40 minutes journey by water taxi.
