Isola Varano is a long beach located between Lake Varano and Adriatic Sea in Italy. The coastline is nice enough, though not very scenic. There is sand with spacious shallows, but the sea water is a little muddy. Due to the lake, there are usually a lot of mosquitoes during the low season. This is a place for a total seclusion. However, there are also several commercial areas with sunbeds rental. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Right near the beach, there are few hotels and campsites with rooms' rates starting from US$150 per night. A little to the east - in the towns of
Foce Varano and
Rodi Garganico - the choice of accommodation options is much better, while prices are cheaper. Towns have also spots to walk around, as well as a selection of shops.
How to get there [edit]

Bari airport (BRI). Get by the local train to
Manfredonia station. Next get by taxi about 40 km to the north.
