Ixtapa Zihuatanejo beach
  Ultimate guide (October 2025)
Ixtapa is a popular beach on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The place is beautiful. There are a lot of palms, entry into the water is smooth, while there is an great view of the mountains around. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people here. In addition, there are usually strong waves in the water. So it makes sense to think about other beaches nearby - especially those located inside Zihuatanejo bay. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
In Ixtapa hotels, rooms' fares range from US$50 to US$500 per month. This is a rather expensive place. But at least average level is upscale by the standards of Mexico. However, most of these hotels are totally overpriced.

How to get there [edit]
 Fly to
Zihuatanejo airport (ZIH). Then take a bus or hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]
