Junkanoo beach

Junkanoo is the nearest beach to the cruise port of Nassau island in the Bahamas. It has a superb view to cruise ships, as well as sand, palms and a variety of inexpensive cafes. As for the snorkeling, it's not very good here. The best beach areas belong to the hotels, many of which have daily passes. Shore: sand. Seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nassau international airport (NAS). Next take a jitney bus number 10.

Or you may get by cruise ship from West Palm Beach and walk from the pier in a less that 10 minutes.

The best time for a holiday on Junkanoo Beach is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
