Kadmat island

Kadmat (Cardamom) is an island in the Laccadives in India. Though there are more beautiful islands nearby, but this place deserves to spend a few days. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

The island has one hotel only. It's opens from 1 October to 15 May. It is best to book much in advance.

The island has also a village with the locals, but it's not possible to rent a room there.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Agatti Airport (AGX) or take a ferry to Agatti island. Next take a speedboat to Kadmat island (about 2 hours per way).

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to Kadmat island is a dry season from October to April. However, the only island's hotel is closed anyway during the rainy season.
