Kalya beach

Kalya is a beach in the north of the Dead Sea in Israel. There are also
Biankini and
Neve Midbar beaches nearby. All three beaches have admission fee, but Kalia is the cheapest one. There are strong waves here in a contrast to the southern segment of the Dead Sea. Shore and seabed: sand, mud.

There are couple of hotels near the beach. However, most of the people come here for one day from Jerusalem.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tel-Aviv International Airport (TLV). Next take a bus to Jerusalem. You may get to the beach by bus, but the car will be much better. It's difficult to get by bus, as the beach is located far from the bus stop.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the Dead Sea is a period from June to October.
