Kandolhu is a small island resort in
North Ari Atoll, Maldives. The beach has white sand and beautiful trees. There is a good entry into the water. And just 10 meters off the coast there is a reef with a comfortable snorkeling, - especially in the west end of the island (near the water bungalows). However, it's too shallow everywhere at low tide, so swimming is possible outside the reef only. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Kandolhu Island Resort is a five-star property with minimum room's rate of US$650 per night. But for the most of dates the price starts from US$1000. Service is good, but not better than on other islands of same price level.
Water villa features that ridiculous glass booth, however the location is very good, - on a sandy bottom, and just near the great coral reef.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next fly by hydroplane. The trip takes 25 minutes plus some time to wait for your plane. The cost for the round-trip is US$500 per adult and US$300 per child.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Kandolhu in the Madives is a dry season from January to April.
