Katara beach

Katara is the only public beach right in Doha - the capital of Qatar. This is not very beautiful place, but it has sunbeds and different attractions. Admission fee is US$30, and after that it's not allowed to bring your own food and drinks, and women are forbidden to wear bikini. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

St. Regis is a five-stars hotel (from US$300) in the south end of Katara beach. There is also another five-stars hotel - InterContinental from US$200 notable for its beach being free for everyone - except Fridays.
