Keleti beach

Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Keleti is a nice beach in the southern coast of Tongatapu island, not far from Nuku'alofa - the capital town of Tonga. Rocks in the sea form a tiny protected bay, which is comfortable for swimming and snorkeling. You can often see whales in the high season. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]
This beach ranks #5 of the "Best beaches in Tongatapu"
Rating: 7.2 - 261 votes [vote]
Coordinates: -21.20312, -175.234123

Hotels [edit]

Keleti International Resort is a good hotel, though definetily not of the international level. However, accommodation rates are low - starting from US$40 per night (unfortunately, the restaurant is overpriced). But the beach is good, compensating most of the negative from the hotel.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Tonga International Airport (TBU). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The high season in the Tongatapu island of Tonga is a dry season from May to October.
