Key Biscayne island

Key Biscayne is an island in the south of Miami. Crandon Park in the north has perfect tropical beach with palms and white sand. In the southern end of the island there is also another park (Bill Baggs Cape) with a beautiful lighthouse built in 1825. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

In the central part of the island there are several hotels - both cheap and expensive options. The most notable one is a 5-stars Ritz-Carlton.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Miami is a warm summer half of the year. That time, sea water warms up to a comfortable temperature. However, the period from May to October is a rainy season, and in addition the period from June to October is a hurricane season. In most cases, it won't spoil your holiday. But if a beach holiday is not your main purpose, it would be better to prefer the winter half of the year.
