Kiyu-Ordeig is a popular beach located to the west of Montevideo in Uruguay. In fact, these are several villages attached to each other. So it is worth to walk along the coast to find the most suitable beach area. In most cases, the coast is hilly with stairs leading down to the sea. The view is beautiful everywhere. There are also walking paths atop with scenic views to the sea. Shore and seabed: sand.

Montevideo international airport (MVD). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Uruguay are January and February. Since sea water is very cold the rest of the year.
