Klong Prao beach

Klong Prao is a beach in the middle of the west coast of Chang island in Thailand. It is a pleasant place without many tourists, but not perfect. At low tide it's becoming too shallow, but during the high tide water comes close to the trees. Two creeks fall into the ocean, so the sea water is not quite clean. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Near the Klong Prao beach there is a good choice of hotels reasonably priced. Please note that the most expensive Panviman Koh Chang Resort has no good beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Trat - by the taxi, or by bus, or by plane. Next take a ferry to the Chang island. Next hire a taxi or take a songthaew.

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to Klong Prao beach in the Koh Chang island is a dry season from November to March.
