Kooddoo island

Kooddoo is an island resort in the northeast of Gaafu atoll, Maldives. This place is quite unique for the country. In fact, the same island has a domestic airport (Kooddoo-GKK), as well as a local village. So the location is not very good due to the lack of exclusive seclusion, that one might expect from Maldives. As for the beach and reef near the hotel, they are quite decent, but not outstanding. Hotels [edit]

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is a 4-star property with rooms' fares starting from US$1000 per night. The hotel is overpriced, since the service is not good enough for the money, while the location is ridiculous - on the local island. As a result, the size of the resort itself is just tiny.

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next fly to Kooddoo airport (GKK) or fly to Kaadedhdhoo airport (KDM).

When to go [edit]

The best time to relax in Kooddoo is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
