Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Koolimuttam is a beach in the northern suburbs of Kochi - in Kerala region of India. There are many palms, fishing boats, as well as breakwaters protecting against strong waves of the open ocean. So this is the rare case in Kerala, where the swimming is comfortable even for smaller children. Please note, that this is not an official tourist beach, - so no sunbeds, showers, toilets or cafe. While the road here is hard. However, this is a great spot to spend few hours by the sea and to swim. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
