Kumyali beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Kumyali is a beach on the Sea of Marmara in the eastern suburbs of Istanbul, Turkey. For a city beach, it's good enough and not overcrowded. But sometimes it can be crowded during the weekends. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, but these are relatively cheap. There are also many cozy cafes nearby. Sea water is shallow being good for children. It can be many algae in the water, but it depends on the season. Sometimes sea water is perfectly clear, sometimes not. Shore and seabed: sand.
