Kuredu is a great budget private island on
Lhaviyani atoll, Maldives. This place is perfect for those looking for something cheaper, but not wishing to stay on a local island. There is everything, that we expect from Maldives - white sand, clear water, palms and sandspit. However, northern beach is bad, and, moreover, it is prohibited to swim there. Please also note, that the water is shallow everywhere near the coastline, while algae starts just a little further away. However, this is not a real problem. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Kuredu Island Resort & Spa is a 4 star hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$200 per night. It is not a true four stars by the Maldivian standards, but value for money is quite Ok. It makes sense to take "All Inclusive Plus" package - to get everything you want for a reasonable fare.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Maldives international airport (MLE). Next fly to Kuredhdhoo island by seaplane (45 minutes). The round transfer is US$360 per person, free for infants.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Kuredu island is a dry period in the winter half of the year.
