La Baguala is a beach in the west of Montevideo, Uruguay. It is also known as Punta Espinillo or Playa Rocha. The coast is beautiful enough. But entry into the water is not the best due to the stones. There are several entrances to the beach. From the bus stop of Punta Espinillo you'll have to walk a little to the beach. Please note, that only hotel' guests can get from the hotel to the beach, - not restaurant visitors. Moreover, although the beach is public, the hotel think it is their private beach, and sometimes tries to restrict access to all non guests. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

La Baguala Hotel de Campo y Chacras is a 5-star pool resort with rooms' rates starting from US$200 per night. While the hotel itself is very good, their restaurant is slightly overpriced.

Fly to Montevideo international airport (MVD). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.
