La Guaira is a beach on the Caribbean coast of Panama. There are many picturesque palms, while swimming is rather comfortable. Unfortunately, sea water is usually somewhat muddy. However, this place is mostly popular as a starting point to take a boat to paradise island of Isla Grande. Its beaches are not much better, but at least these are more manicured. Fly to the major Panama international airport (PTY, Tocumen) or fly to secondary Panama international airport (BLB, Balboa). Next take a taxi or get by bus.
