Lacona beach

Lacona is the longest beach on Elba island in Italy. It is mostly sandy with comfortable entry into the water. In the west end there is also rocky bottom giving some opportunities for the snorkeling. Unfortunately, there are too many people, but this problem is common for all good beaches in Elba. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Near Lacona beach there are a lot of hotels for any budget. However, the most popular accommodation option are numerous campsites located around all of the beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Pisa international airport (PSA). Next fly to Elba airport (EBA). Then get by bus # 118 to the stop of Lacona - Bivio Caubbio.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Lacona on Elba is a warm period from July to September. As for September, sea water is almost as warm as in August, but there are no crowds of tourists.
