Laughing Bird beach

Laughing Bird - is the only beach suitable for swimming on Laughing Bird Caye island. It's located where boats comes to the shore. The rest the beach is pressed coral chips, while seabed is rocky with seagrass. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

The island has no hotels, so only daily tours from Palencia are possible.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Belize International Airport (BZE). Then take a bus from Belize City via Dangriga town. Total road will take a minimum of 5 hours. There is also a direct shuttle minibus Belize City - Palencia (3 hours per way). There are daily boat tours from Palencia to Laughing Bird Caye.

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to the island of Laughing Bird Caye is a dry season from February to May.
