Lavena beach

Lavena is a beach in the east of Taveuni island in Fiji. The best area is located at the beginning of the Lavena Coastal Walk eco-route. "Return to the Blue Lagoon" movie with Milla Jovovich was filmed here in 1991. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

The beach is located in the Bouma National Park, so hotels are prohibited here. You can choose any hotel in Taveuni island, but we recommend Matei beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nadi International Airport (NAN). Next, get to the island of Taveuni (see. here for details).

The Lavena village can be reached by bus, but the road is long and hard. So it is better to take a taxi.

The best time for travel to the Lavena beach is a dry season from May to November.
