Le Castella beach

Le Castella is a medieval castle on the Ionian Sea in Calabria, Italy. There is also small town nearby, as well as several beach areas. The place is spectacular, thus being overcrowded in August. So this is not the best place for a long stay. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Fly to Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF). Next take a train to the station of S.Leonardo Di Cutro and get to Le Castella by taxi.
