Le Morne beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Le Morne is a beach in
Mauritius located near the famous Mountain Le Morne being the most notable island's attraction. In the center, there is a public beach with trees. The place is nice, but it’s better to walk to the left or to the right - to get to upscale resorts with palms and manicured white sand. By the way, broken corals are common in all areas of the beach, so be careful! As for the snorkeling, it's great right near the coastline almost everywhere, while the south end is an iconic kite spot. And, of course, you'll get a great view of the Mountain from all points of the beach! Shore and seabed: sand.

When to go [edit]
You can relax any time of year in Mauritius. However, it's not so easy to find the perfect season. The sea water is cold from July to October. Seriously! On the other side, the water is warm from December to April, but this is the rainy season.
