Le Souffleur beach

Le Souffleur is a great "local" beach in the middle of southern coast of La Desirade island, Guadeloupe. The place is not touristic, but it has huts with BBQ-tables, as well as a volleyball net. There are many picturesque palms and white sand ashore. While in the water, you may find areas with a sandy bottom, and rocky snorkeling spots. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are no hotels near the beach of Le Souffleur. So it is better to look for a room near Beausejour port.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Guadeloupe international airport (PTP). Next get by taxi to Saint-François town, and take a boat to La Desirade island (55 euros per person for the round trip). Next hire a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Le Souffleur is a dry season from January to June.
