Lido di Classe beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Lido di Classe is a beach in the north of Emilia-Romagna region, Italy. The south end of the coastline is just a city beach being quite ordinary for this district of Italy. Breakwaters protect from the strong waves, while a million of rental sunbeds will give you a comfortable relaxation. But if you walk to the north, there is a wild beach (also known as a "free" beach). This is a great spot to enjoy nature without crowds of tourists. The coastal vegetation is rather poor, but sand dunes are beautiful anyway. Even if you strictly need a sun lounger, it can be a good place for pleasant walks along the sea. Shore and seabed: sand, pebbles.

In the hotels of Lido di Classe, rooms' fares start from as low as US$60 per night. But the choice of accommodation options is limited. However, a little to the south - in the town of
Lido di Savio choice of hotels is much better, while prices are slightly cheaper. These two towns form an urban agglomeration. So it's quite the same. But Lido di Savio is located far from the wild beach.
