Lido di Pomposa beach

Lido di Pomposa is a beach in the very north of Emilia-Romagna region, Italy. This is rather mediocre destination even by regional standards. There are many buildings, many tourists, but just a few trees. However, swimming is comfortable due to breakwaters protecting from waves. But sea water is slightly muddy, which is not very good. It is worth to walk a little to the south - to a wild beach near the Natural Park of Pineta Jacaranda. It's much more beautiful and less crowded. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]
