Lignano beach
Ultimate guide (April 2025)
Lignano is the westernmost beach in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. For unclear reasons, it is considered to be upscale holiday destination. So everything is totally overpriced. The place is overcrowded. There are also a lot of commercial sunbeds. Sea water is muddy. While there are almost no trees. You should probably look for a more reasonable beach, if you don't want to spend a lot of money for nothing. Shore and seabed: sand.
