Lime Cay is a tiny "paradise" island near Kingston - the capital of
Jamaica. The beach is very good - with white sand and good entry into the water. However, there are no palms, - just trees. The snorkelling around the island is great. On the weekends there are always a lot of locals. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels on the island of Lime Cay, but you may spend a night in your tent, - just don't forget to arrange a boat that will take you back next day. If you don't like tents, there are plenty of hotels in Kingston to suit every taste.
In any case, you have to bring food and water, because there's nothing on the island except for the beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Kingston international airport (KIN) or fly to
Montego Bay airport (MBJ). Order daily tour to Lime Cay island (US$12) in your hotel or in any travel agency. Or you can simply get by taxi to the
Morgan's Harbour, and hire a boat that will take you there and back any time you need.
When to go [edit]
In Jamaica there is a good warm weather during all the year, except for the rainy season in October. There is also hurricane season from July to October, but only Americans are afraid of it.
