How to get there [edit]

Fly to Cairns international airport (CNS). Next get to the Cooktown - 200 miles to the north by taxi or by bus Country Road Coachlines. Next take a boat transfer to the Lizard Island.

You may also take a direct flight from Cairns to the airport of Lizard Island, - 60 minutes per way.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the Lizard Island of Australia is a dry season from May to November.
