Lonely Beach

Lonely Beach is one of the best beaches in the island of Ko Chang in Thailand. It has a best choice of rastaman beach bars, most of which are made in a specific Thai style. The beach features strong low tide, exposing a nice sandy bottom. Please note, that this beach is no longer lonely, - now there are a lot of tourists. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Directly near this small beach there are only few hotels for every budget. Of course, more you pay, better you get.

A little further to the south there is a village with much better choice of hotels and lower fares. And it's only 5 minutes walking to the Lonely Beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Trat - by the taxi, or by bus, or by plane. Next take a ferry to the Chang island. Next hire a taxi or take a shuttle minibus (songthaew).

When to go [edit]

The best time for relaxing on the Lonely Beach of Koh Chang island is a dry season from November to March.
