Long Bay beach

Long Bay is a beach in the northeast of Antigua island. West end is a private beach of Pineapple resort. While in the east, there is a wild beach with sunbeds rental. Anyway, this is a perfect tropical paradise with palms and white sand. But there are few problems. First, it is slightly overcrowded - both in the west and in the east. Second, there is often many algae ashore. The hotel staff try to do their best to clean the beach, but they fail most of time. Shore and bottom: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Pineapple Beach Club is a 4-star all-inclusive adult hotel. It is good enough, but the service is rather looks like three stars. On the other hand, their price tag is more like a five star :) There are many minor problems, that can be very annoying. So it all depends on how you can live with it.

Fly to Antigua international airport (ANU). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

You can relax in Antigua any time of year. Summer is considered to be off-season due to the heat and hurricane season. But it's still a great time anyway.
