Long Beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Long Beach is a beach located to the north of Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. This is a unique spot by European standards - looking more like some municipal beaches of Oceania. Public beach with palms and lawn is great both for swimming, as well as for walking. There are also many cafes and spacious parking lot. So it can be crowded sometimes. However, it may take many years, when Northern Cyprus will get enough tourists. If you turn to the right, it is possible to walk to a wild beach with forest called
Jungle by the Sea. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Long Beach Club Resort is a three-star hotel with rooms' fares starting from US$100 per night. These are cozy bungalows with great beachfront location in the south end of the beach.
All other hotels and apartments are located behind the road. Please note, that almost all local hotels are just aparthotels. So it makes sense to travel here with a large family. For about US$100 per night, you will get a good apartment in pretty condominium with pool. However, there are also cheaper, as well as more expensive options. Anyway, it is much cheaper here if compared with Southern Cyprus.
