Long Hai beach
Ultimate guide (March 2025)
Long Hai is the eastern beach of
Vũng Tàu town, Vietnam. While coastal scenery is relatively nice, sea water is muddy with additional problem of strong low tides. Central beach area is the best. Since west end is overdeveloped, while east end is just a fishing village. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
In the hotels of Long Hai beach, rooms' fares range from US$20 to US$500 per night. Most of these are upscale villas with many bedrooms. So this destination is overpriced, while the beach itself is rather mediocre. Probably, it makes no sense to stay here.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Ho Chi Minh International Airport (SGN). Next hire a taxi.
When to go [edit]
Feel free to visit southeast Vietnam any time of year. But the best time is a dry season from November to April.
