The village of Los Cobanos has excellent choice of budget family guesthouses. However, most of them are not presented in the international booking systems.

A little to the west of the village there are few great beach resorts for the top prices.

Fly to El Salvador International Airport (SAL). Next get by bus. But the best is to hire a taxi.

The best time for a holiday in El Salvador is a dry season from November to April.
