Los Pinos beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Los Pinos is a beach in the southwest of Uruguay. It is also known as
Playa Fomento. There are many tall pine trees, the sand is white, while entry into the water is smooth. But the killer feature of this place is the low tide. In fact, usually when the beach is affected to strong low tides, it is a problem, since views are depressing, and you have to walk to the depth for a long time. But it is not the case in Los Pinos! Low tide is the best time here. Since scenic sandbanks are exposed, where it is possible to settle. The view becomes great, while walking to the depth is fast and pleasant. Shore and seabed: sand.
