Maafushivaru island

Maafushivaru is a private island in the South Ari atoll, Maldives. The beach is perfect with palms, white sand and convenient entry into the water without corals. Maafushivaru Maldives is a four star resort with rooms' fares starting from US$700 per night. The property promises some privacy, but you won't feel any seclusion on the beach, as well as on the neighboring island of Lonubo. There are too many people everywhere. And, yes, this is not a luxury hotel, and it is definetely overpriced.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next take a seaplane (25 minutes per way). The round transfer costs US$370 for adult, US$230 for a child 2-11 years old, infants travel without any charge.

The best time for a beach holiday in the hotel of Maafushivaru is a dry season from January to April.
