Malahini Bandos beach

Malahini Bandos is an island resort near Maldives international airport - in the North Male atoll. Not to be confused with Bandos Maldives hotel located on the neighboring islet! The island is small, beautiful and cozy. Swimming is not the best due to the rocky bottom. But the snorkeling is great. So this is a decent budget option for the money. It is worth to spend a night here before flying back home from Maldives. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort is a 5-star property with rooms' rates starting from US$300 per night. The main problem is that there is no big public pool. A pool would not very useful, since the beach has a rocky bottom. In general, the service is not quite upscale, but the hotel is relatively cheap. So value for money is Ok.

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next get by the resort's speedboat (US$100 for the return trip).

When to go [edit]

You can relax any time of year in the Maldives. But the best is a winter half of the year.
