Malanza beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Malanza is a beach in the southeast of
Sao Tome island. Despite its location in a protected bay, waves are usually strong here. In addition, sea water is muddy due to several rivers flowing into the ocean. In the village (east coast), you can walk around watching the local life of fishermen - mostly poor. But the swimming is much better in the west side being wild enough with many shaded palms and good swimming both in the sea, as well as in the creek. Shore and seabed: sand.

The best time for a beach holiday in Sao Tome and Principe is a dry season from June to September. Unfortunately, sea water is relatively cold during this period.
