Malindi beach

Malindi is an an important tourist center on the ocean coast of Kenya. It is considered to be the most Europeanized region in the country. However, the beaches are rather mediocre even by the standards of Kenya. Of course, the sand is white with occasional palms, but in the low tide sea water goes far away exposing an ugly bottom. Fly to Nairobi international airport (NBO), next fly to Malindi airport (MYD). Then get to your hotel by taxi or by matata minibus.

Malindi can offer great beach holiday all the year round, except for the rainy season from mid-April to June.
