Manini'owali beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Manini'owali is a popular beach on the west of Big Island of Hawaii. In the center, there is a cozy area with white sand and azure clear water. While good snorkeling on the rocks is possible at the edges of the bay. Waves are usually strong enough. But you can find natural pools in the rocks. Car parking is free and spacious - including occasional lots along the road. So there are always a lot of people here during the day time. In addition, there are almost no trees ashore. So it is worth to bring an umbrella or tent, as well as supplies of food and water. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
